Company Creation Has Not Been Rebuilt
AI makes execution cheap. Company creation has not been rebuilt around that reality yet.
Early Concept Note
Folio is the operating layer for starting, building, funding, and connecting companies in the age of AI.
AI makes execution cheap. Company creation has not been rebuilt around that reality yet.
Founders, agents, capital, programs, experts, and institutions still operate across disconnected chats, repos, docs, CRMs, funding portals, applications, spreadsheets, and private networks.
Customized environments in Codex, Claude Code, OpenClaw, Hermes, MCP stacks, and custom agent systems are moving toward persistent context, agent-readable memory, repo-like structures, and agents executing against structured knowledge.
But today, that future is still technical, custom, and largely single-venture.
Folio productizes it into a simple company layer that connects founders, agents, capital, experts, programs, and institutions from the idea stage onward.
Folio onboarding creates the starting infrastructure: company brain, shared memory, workspace, operating documents, readiness tracks, agent loops, funding paths, and first tasks.
Folio is both founder incubator and agent incubator. It gives founders structure and gives agents the context, rules, and workflows needed to execute.
Folio becomes the operating environment. Companies are built, funded, operated, supported, and improved from live company context.
Funding is two-sided and continuous. Opted-in ventures are matched by dedicated agents with grants, accelerators, programs, angels, VCs, and opportunities.
Capital and grant allocators get criteria, cohorts, workflows, reporting, and their own Funding Radar.
Folio Network makes the ecosystem active and opt-in. Users choose what becomes discoverable, by whom, and for what purpose.
Users can search and query opted-in venture data, while network intelligence recommends the people, companies, capital, programs, experts, institutions, and collaborators most relevant to each user's goals.
Folio Intelligence is the system-wide learning layer built from opted-in company journeys: paths, tasks, funding outcomes, applications, pivots, milestones, expert matches, program participation, and growth.
It improves guidance, funding readiness, agent orchestration, institutional workflows, network matching, and the ability to scale what incubators and accelerators do manually today.
As companies become more digital and agent-operated, Folio can become the layer for deeper company infrastructure: next-gen ownership models, end-to-end incorporation, smart contracts, stablecoin transactions, payments, contributor systems, and project-based work.
The next generation of entrepreneurs will build with smaller teams, different barriers, and far more leverage. They will skip as much of the pre-AI operating stack as they can: fragmented tools, static systems, and workflows not built around agents, networks, or live company context.
The unlock is agency. Folio is built to make it easier for more people to direct agents, capital, experts, institutions, and workflows toward real company outcomes through a company layer that feels simple, natural, and native to the AI era.
